Title: Ribeyes, Lamb Chops and "other" on the Blackstone
Post by: sliding_billy on July 19, 2015, 03:26:37 PM
Gave the Blackstone a little bit of a workout today...

A couple of 2" ribeyes that I have had in the freezer for a few weeks seasoned with Cattleman's original coffee rub.

Steaks are almost done.  Time to put everything else on (lamb chops, "burger" patties and Boar's Head franks.

Nothing better than a flat top crust on a ribeye.

The money shot.

I could buy three cans of my normal swill for the price of this one bottle, but it is delicious (and I don't get to the German deli often and need to grab one when I am there).

There is a patio under there somewhere.

I agree wholeheartedly on a Blackstone grilled Steak  :P :P  Wait until your grill gets more seasoned, it will just get better. I scrape mine off after cooking and that is all I do.

Let me know if you need a little help killing off some of that protein  ;)

All you need to do is make it to Texas.  I've got some vacation time to spare.

Never thought of using my Blackstone for steak......until now! Chow looks great.
I moved my Blackstone into my garage from my deck. I just could not keep it covered and dry enough that it wouldn't rust. The rust frustrated me as I knew I had 20 minutes of cleaning before I could start to cook.  Hope the new location does the trick.

I will lightly oil the grill after scraping it. You can even give it a light coat of cooking spray. When the seasoning builds up you wont have hardly any rust problems.
