My wife was gone tonight so it was me and the kids!. I told them lets try to make a stuffed burger tonight. Never had made one.
So got some 93/7 ground meat. Added some garlic salt, table salt, pepper and all spice together and mixed it into the meat.
Smashed two patties real thin and added sharp cheddar in the middle. I then put my Mak1 on smoke for eight minutes and then high heat for about 14 minutes total. It actually cooked the meat to medium which was very juicy and I did not loose any of the cheese in the center. Took them off and added the extra slice of cheese my kids wanted on top (One wanted Swiss and the other American). Then served them up and didn't hear a peep for about 20 minutes. I even had a tear in my eye. What a wonderful new burger to make now. Hope you like the pic.
