Just a quick dinner. As I told my brother-in-law, this cheeseburger was better than last night's steak. Double cheeseburger, toasted bun. Mmm.

Hey Bob..doing fine here..am going to the Ohio gathering in June with my sidekick, am raising my great grand daughter..she is 3 now..had her since 2 weeks old..she's mine now. geez. Hope to see you there..you will get to meet some great people...we had such a good time last year. Can't wait to do it again. not sure how far for you, take about 2.5 hours from Lima. Stay well friend. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Pam, you'll have to fill me in about having a young one in the house again. They say it keeps you young!
Going to see if I can make the Ohio gathering this year. Going to have a full house myself this summer, so I need to see what other plans we might have. Plus, I gotta make sure it doesn't interfere with my pinball league.

Bob,, it is an eye opener..kinda like grandkids, we all know they are better than kids because you have time to spend with them, more than kids. She keeps me hopping for sure, just have to get down to their level, I mean on the ground to see what they see, and child proof what you don't want to lose. just sayin, but other than that..it's great, I take her everywhere..she loves the campground, can't wait to get there and eating, she's good at that too..wonder why. She keeps telling me that "I love that so much" when I make stuff, best thing that ever happened to me. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

What's a pinball league?
-
Pam - sounds like you are having a blast!
Pappy - I'll try to describe what pinball league is...we have a little over 20 folks that get together and go to members houses and play pinball. We usually break up into groups of four and play against each other. This league (in Columbus) plays five games every time we get together. You play in a different group every time you meet. At the end of the season, you are ranked based on the standings from the previous weeks (8 weeks, I think - they throw out your two lowest scores). During finals, they take the rankings and make three groups. Those players play x number of games, head-to-head with the winner moving on and the loser going into the loser's bracket, until each group has a winner.
Wow, that was a lot more difficult to explain than I anticipated. Here's the easier verison:
Pinball league is a chance for me to go play a bunch of pinball machines that I wouldn't normally get to play. For free. :-)

Sounds really cool

When I think of pinball, I imagine the "old days." 5 balls for a nickel, just one pair of flippers, real bumpers - not electronic, you could "move" the machine a bit before the tilt (you had to know the limits of a particular machine - took MANY games to learn)... The good old "clunk" when you racked up a game... ohhhh those were the days....

Yes I am - but, you must be as well to recognize it... ;D ;) ;D

drholly - well, if you are ever around Dayton, Ohio, look me up. I've got more of the old pinball machines than the newer ones. They are a lot of fun. And a lot less expensive!
-
These two are fun
