Got a note late yesterday Rick and Crystal were going to be in town so I called them up made plans so we could meet for breakfast. I called GusRobin and TestRocket but both were unable to make it.
So I had them meet me at Gibson's BBQ (related to Big Bob Gibson's) but different part of the family.
I had sausage, gravy and biscuits Rick had brunswick stew and biscuits Crystal had a stuffed potato.
We had a great time and talked for 1 1/2 hrs it was great and to finaly meet Crystal after all these years. How she puts up with Rick I'll never know ;)
We had a really good time and looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Sounds like a great time. It is a lot of fun to meet folks in person after "knowing" them on the forum.

Looks like everyone had a great time Tommy!

Rick had brunswick stew even though it was 9:30 am and Crystal had a stuffed tator!
I went for the gravy and biscuits ;)

I don't know nothin' about no taters but I bet the Brunswick stew wasn't even close to as good as dee's and I'm positive the gravy wasn't anywhere near as perfect as Pam's.
On the other hand, it's always good to spend time with Chrystal (and Rick, too - sorta).

Their stew is not as good as Dee's that is soooo right, but it is good.
The gravy is ok for a restaurant , but no where near as good as Pam's.
Gibson's is just one of those places where you get good food for a good $$$ and the staff does an excellent job

Two really nice people. Has Crystal retired yet? Dee

Is Huntsville where all the rockets are?

Is Huntsville where all the rockets are?
Yep, Rick passed a full size Saturn 5 Rocket. It stands 300 feet tall and it is standing on the side of the interstate I-565
There is a real Saturn 5 indoors at the space center. That was one of the originals that was scheduled to fly but never did. Something to see if your this way
We also have a full mock up of a Space Shuttle w/tanks and solid rocket boosters

I drove through Huntsville on my way from Jacksonville to Douglas GA where I was judging a BBQ competition many years ago.
It was interesting seeing the rockets as you drove down the highway.
