Title: Over the pond gathering

It was a great pleasure getting to meet WC.  Here are some of the pictures taken from the gathering.  Wished I would have taken more but was having fun and would forget to pull the camera out. 

Beautiful drive.  A little foggy so couldn't take it all in but still beautiful.  Lots of vineyards around here.

then to a xmas market.  It was crazy.

then into the town where WC works.  Beautiful!

Dinner was good.  4 course meal and all the wine you could want.  Forgot about pictures until the last main course.  stuffed.  think my fav was the bone marrow meat ball soup. very good.

Time to go back to work :(  It was a great trip and now I have a new friend in a different land.

That was a really fantastic day and for me a great pleasure to meet fishingbouchman, too.

After looking that last pic, I'm glad that the view had cleared up the next day. It's one of the most beautiful views in our region.

Boy I would love the cooking area you have WC. looks like a great setup for outdoor cooking

Fantastic!  Just think how many friends we make because of our mutual love of cooking.  We are so blessed and fortunate.  I wouldn't trade any of y'all for a speckled puppy.  Dee

If we had that many cooking toys Pappy our wives would blow our savings at the Mall of America. :(

Oh wow, what views!!  That Christmas market looks to be quite the experience!   WC, what a beautiful area you live in, and how cool that you got to visit, fishingbouchman!   What a trip to have been able to make.   Thank you so much for sharing pictures for the rest of us to enjoy it vicariously through you!

We live in a wonderful age.  I'm happy for the two of you—that you could meet after "connecting" via this meeting place.

Thanks for posting the great pics!  I was there in 1971 and they bring back some wonderful memories.
