More spoils from the Alaska trip...

Fresh caught wild salmon from our friends:

On the MAK to get a little smoke... I can't get over the color!!!

And of course, everything is better with buttah!!

All finished up for a special dinner!!

We couldn't eat it all, so we made smoked salmon eggs benedict the next morning-- what a treat!!  Whole Wheat english muffins, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and some herb hollandaise sauce.  DIVINE.   Been ages since I've had good fresh fish like that!

Salmon!  I love good salmon.  I haven't had salmon Benedict in a long time.  The only way I can get my wife to eat salmon is to smoke it and thinly slice it for bagels, or make gravlax with the salmon and slice it thin for bagels.  She's in a rut.  I can live with that.
