Hey all, been keeping this on the low down till I knew a little more about what was going to happen

On April 15 not only did the Government run over me with taxes, a kid at work ran over me with a Honda Accord.

Yes, he ran me over and he was not even in the car, he left it in drive and got out of the car.   The car needed an Alt and battery so it was running real bad he got out to when I ask him what was wrong.  He said he jumped it off and it runs like crap! I said hook the jump box back up (not realizing the tires were facing me and the car was still in "D") so he hooked the jump box up and next thing I knew I had a 2007 Accord on top of my left leg.

My right knee slammed the ground and neither one has been the same since.  So finally Tuesday I will get an MRI on my right knee to see what's going on.  While the left knee still hurts they will only do one at a time go figure.

So please keep me in your thoughts till I hear what's going on.

Thanks,

Tommy
Hope it's repairable T,  Will be thinking about you.  A 16 year old in Volkswagen got me..  One of the screws holding me together is poking me in the .... right now.
I think it started when I read this... It's Sympathy pain Bro.

Sorry ya gotta have surgery Tommy, but the main thing is to get back to being you again. Fix the other knee if needed, and hell, you'll be good for another 100,000 miles.

I'm sure they could mod it with a tiny little pellet smoker while they are in there.  Seriously, best of luck.  My prayers go out to you and your family.

I have been kind of out of pocket and just now saw this. I hope the surgery goes well and you get back to normal, or at least as normal as Tommy can be. If you need anything I am just a couple of hours down the road.

What a bummer Tommy, getting hurt while doing a good deed! Hope all is fixed soon! A girlfriend of my wife's was showing her neighbor how to drive her mower, Lawn tractor, last summer. Well her neighbor ran over her and messed up both ankles. Take care! Don

Tommy, I think what is up there in NA (Northern Alabama) is a bunch of Auburn dropouts, which is rare since the entrance requirement are so low and academic standards are unheard of, who are trying to sabotage you.  Dee

Hey Tommy

I just found your message to me on the Char Broil site. I have been working too many 60-80 hr weeks, so I haven't had much time to real the BBQ site. Give me a call  if you have questions(this is Mike Smith) from the Char Broil site.

I noticed there were very few posts on that site even when I hadn't looked at it in a while. From the monikers and avatars, it looks like everyone moved over here!
