Had breakfast with Rick and Crystal
« Reply #-1 on: October 22, 2013, 02:54:19 PM »
Got a note late yesterday Rick and Crystal were going to be in town so I called them up made plans so we could meet for breakfast.  I called GusRobin and TestRocket but both were unable to make it.

So I had them meet me at Gibson's BBQ (related to Big Bob Gibson's) but different part of the family.
I had sausage, gravy and biscuits Rick had brunswick stew and biscuits Crystal had a stuffed potato.

We had a great time and talked for 1 1/2 hrs it was great and to finaly meet Crystal after all these years.  How she puts up with Rick I'll never know ;)

We had a really good time and looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Breakfast between a couple of long lost friends. Great pics, Tommy.

And no wheelbarrows were involved!  ;)

Crystal has a halo above her head for being able to put up with Rick.  Rick has a halo, too.  His happens to be around his neck.

I don't know nothin' about no taters but I bet the Brunswick stew wasn't even close to as good as dee's and I'm positive the gravy wasn't anywhere near as perfect as Pam's.

On the other hand, it's always good to spend time with Chrystal (and Rick, too - sorta).

Their stew is not as good as Dee's that is soooo right, but it is good.

The gravy is ok for a restaurant , but no where near as good as Pam's.

Gibson's is just one of those places where you get good food for a good $$$ and the staff does an excellent job

Two really nice people.  Has Crystal retired yet?  Dee
