Those last chicken legs I made that I bacon wrapped were awesome. So my next chicken leg batch was all bacon wrapped. The legs were liberally coated with Jan's rub and the each one wrapped with a slice of bacon & a silicone band. The Traeger was loaded with a 50/50 pellet mix of maple and pecan. Then I set the thermostat to 275F and let the Traeger do it's magic. I tossed some Texas cheese toast on the top rack the last 10 minutes and served with garlic mashed potatoes. Really good stuff

Yep, those are great muebe. My Peg Leg Chicken took 1st place t the church cook off this year.
Kimmie told me she would NEVER wrap 85+ pieces of bacon and chicken again!

Looking abosolutely delicious, I burned up one of them silicone band Thanksgiving day in the SRG. Go figure. They are cheap tho. Pammie ★*˚°。°

I think it touched the basket with the turkey in it. it just broke it open. I have lot more, but was just kinda amazed it did that. Pam ★*˚°。°
