Hello everyone, new here and stopped by to say hi and introduce myself a little.

I love cooking outdoors whether it's BBQing, smoking some meat, or frying or boiling some of out great SWLA seafood.

The wife and I also love to camp in our travel trailer "The Escape" and tailgate where I normally prepare some sort of food for at least our "Friday Night at the Field" friends and/or cooking or assisting cooking for 80-100 tailgate fans that show up.

My current BBQ/smoking equipment is:

Custom made BBQ Pit
Old Smokey (normally used for the camper)
Gas Grill
Orion Cooker
Brinkman smoker

Welcome, Allen, from North Carolina.  You will love this forum.  Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here.  My wife and I made a visit to Avery Island about a month ago.  We were on our way to Houston/Galveston when we decided not to chance the rain that was headed their way.  Good choice.  I don't do floods.  One of these days we will head down that way again.  I want to stock up on some good food to bring back to NC.
