Hey y'all. I'm a Richmond Va smoker/griller seeking advice and hoping to offer some and maybe swap some recipes (though I don't like following directions etc.
My main tool is a Weber Kettle grill, which I love, but have been looking for something with a bit more capacity and more ability to smoke at lower temps. I'm eager to get started on the Outdoor Gourmet pellet grill. My brother has a Traeger and I can barely get him to stop talking about it!

Hey Bill!
Glad you joined us - muebe is one of the folks here that can answer a lot of questions about pellet grilling and the way the pellet grills work. Hub may mosey along here soon, and maybe even ACW3 ( Art)...and others that have extensive pellet grill experience. I am forgetting some important folks - my apologies to them -

Welcome Bluesman Bill from California ;)
Webber Kettles are cool; but, pellet grills are awesome. But wait, Harry Soo from Diamond Bar, CA. uses Webbers and he's considered one of the best in California ???
Doesn't matter what you cook on, BBQr is fantastic!!!!!

LTBBQ's greatest strength is....it's members!!!
And - their cheerful willingness to help by sharing their experiences. You will find that the full gambit of cooking gear is used by many of us - and we love aspects of each type that may or may not be duplicated by another kind of cooker.
If I may suggest - you can start a thread in the general discussion section requesting input...... :)
