I am from Southern California and known on other BBQ forums as "Smokenovice".  I have been a fanatic backyard BBQr for over 40 years using charcoal, gas, smokers, stick burners; but, now the majority of my cooks are done on pellet grills.  I have much experience in the formulations of dry rubs and sauces for most of those years which a few of the Pellethead BBQrs have used in competitions to fair very well  ;D

Welcome from mid Alabama. I am always pleasantly surprised to find out how many left coasters are into and are superb BBQ'ers. We thought y'all were only into tofu out there. We are learining lot's of new tricks from you guys.

Wow, thank you all for the warm welcome to Let's Talk BBQ !!

TMB, Pam Gould, Mikcorn.1, Ron D, TwoPockets, and Pappymn.......us left coast Cali people have always done a lot of hot and fast BBQn..........Steaks and Tri-Tips  :P  But, we are doing low and slow with passion and perfection now too, we've actually learned a lot from all of you great BBQrs!  Thank you guys, it's delicious  :P :P :P

Hey Larry, glad to see you here too!!!  This is a great BBQn forum with a lot of great BBQn fanatics, everyone from a Hibachis, Webbers, stick burners, vertical smokers, gassers, pit smokers, offsets and so on here. 

Pellet grills are my specialty and I am glad both "Sloman - Larry Owen" and "Ericrowley18 - Eric Rowley" are here.  We have them as an excellent resource here in Southern CA. for everyday low prices, quality, and service.
