That is a great price. I think Walmart on-line has a black one and a red one for the same price.

Contrary to what some owners of some brands will tell you ALL KAMADO's COOK THE SAME!
The difference is the build , materials used & warranty.
My AKORN is 4 years old & going strong!
Of you want to get a Kamado & your wife's not as understanding as SMOKE'S it's a great option.

Since LA showed me how to use my Akorn, it has been a dream to cook in. 
I think I paid $299 a couple of years ago.  This one is $11 cheaper...a great bargain.

Have had mine in Florida for 3 years stored in the Lanai, a little bit of rust on the inside of the lid but has held out just fine.  $300.00 on Amazon with free shipping.  Like Jaxon said once you learn how to cook on it, it performs just as good as a BGE.
