Finally four weeks late but they started building the BBQ shed. Well, I should say another installer is here to build it.
Last night two folks showed up to build my BBQ shed (four weeks late) and Kimmie said crack heads, I'm not having them build the shed.
So after many calls to the seller, the owner and the foreman we got a new crew. You see last night we had a long conversation with the owner and he wound up firing the first crew but they didn't want to leave right then so I said two ways of doing this...
1... I can go out (armed of course) and "ask" them politely to leave OR
2... Call for deputies to come out and remove them.
She went with the second option ;) So by 1 A.M this morning they left and a new crew showed up at 11 a.m and started working

With concrete and building all for less than $8,000.00 they wanted $13,500 just for a pole barn without concrete ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Thanks, just found out this was the only one this guy has ever built like this and said he hopes NEVER again because of the time it has taken. I feel bad for him because of the crap that happened but this is his job after all.

Hard to believe, but this corn + the other fields he has (we rent out our land) comes up to about 7000 acres of corn and this is only about 10% to 15% of what Jack Daniels needs a year to make their whiskey ??? ??? ??? That's a lot of corn

TMB even with 1 gallon woodchared oak barrels it takes 4 months to take moonshine to bourbon.
Gonna have to get Tee some corn ASAP ::)

Got home last night to build this cooking patio. Kimmie said when it's pretty out she does not want me cooking under the roof so we decided on a patio just off the side of the shed. Right now it 8 x 5 feet but I'm sure it's going to get bigger as time goes by ;) ;) ;) ;)

Tommy....You make us all proud of AND for you. ( Now...If you plan in some in-gound utilities and RV hook-ups, tent sites and maybe build a hotel on the property for phase #2 of your new World Headquarters of the TMB BBQ Empire ;) 8).... :D :D :D :D just kidding.....well about the hotel anyway :D)
Seriously - you have gone above and beyond on this project, and it will be an incredible place for you and the family ( as well as "us" friends ;D ) to Gather 'round and enjoy great food, and the making of even better memories.
I am lookin forward to finding that tap on my mountain here...and filling some jars with pure Mountain Creek "Water" (well...it is as clear as water anyway...) so no one has a dry or scratchy throat in North Alabama. Our corn up here did not make it to Jack Daniels.....it remained closer to home and "full strength". :D But I promise to drive it by the JD facility, and let it wave to it's weaker cousins on the way to your house :)

Another fridge...as in additional fridge. That way if one fridge croaks over from the heat ( or the kind of parties where somone uses a short fridge for a dancing stage ;)...) you have a backup. I have2 frideges and 3 freezers for that reason. :D

This on is to hold beer I have another fridge for meats and stuff. She only needs enough beer for a day the I will restock it ;)

CAUTION!!! There are things you just can't unsee. Especially when you know that "Somone" is tee's stage name.
