Is cooking up food to share with my friends as we root for the Falcons to win! As a long time suffering fan I am happy to see them make it back to the playoffs and hope they can FINALLY get to the promised land! I don't know who they are playing yet but I hope they keep the train rolling :)
I am going to smoke a big ol' butt on the KBQ along with 2 chickens and a pan of baked beans. Also going to make up a couple of racks of ABTs to smoke on the Traeger and might make up some Moinks to put on one of the Kegs. Potato Salad or Cole Slaw will be along for the ride and maybe some Brunswick Stew and some grilled Texas Toast on the Flat Top. Going to be good! I wish I had friends that would cook like this for me! LOL!
The important thing about this is catching up with friends and enjoying the game! Whatever team you like, here's to hoping they go all the way!

I accept all fans! All I need is a headcount lol! As for playoffs, it's a rarity in Atlanta so regardless of the outcome I am happy to have them in the hunt. Smoke, the Pack is always scary. I have a sneaking suspicion that they may cross paths with Atlanta but I am REALLY looking forward to seeing the Seahawks if it pans out that way. We owe them one after getting robbed ;)

Well as a Lions fan I'm just happy they won a game this season much less end up with Seahawks as their next game ??? ??? Knowing what will more than likely happen when they play ???

I don't see anyone in the AFC stopping the Pats! I hope my Falcons can make it through the NFC. I think they're a better team than Dallas, Seattle and Green Bay. The Falcons had the hardest schedule in the NFL this year and went 11-5 and should've done better than that, got robbed by the zebras in 2 games and gave away another at the end by doing a bonehead 2 point conversion that wasn't needed that ended up in a "Pick 2". I am still shaking my head over that one, lol!
The regular season is out the window now so it all starts over, starting today. The Falcons have a 1st round bye so we get to sit back and see who we'll face next weekend. I am excited! I won't get TOO excited though because life as a Falcons fan has taught me to not get my hopes up. I always get disappointed :( I do hope this year is our year FINALLY!

There is one thing the Falcons need to get past RG......It is something so simple but at the same time so hard.

The Steelers did it in the 70's & have never looked back. It took the Cubs 108 years, My Saint louis Blues are closing in on 50 bad years. My two football teams are over a 100 combined. The AZ Cardinals are close......The jets are making good moves to try & cross that line. Simple but hard. Thanks God I like the baseball Cardinals, Celtics & Bruins.......
Now one year wonders can happen to anyone but you need to cross that line to be good for years.....Giants, Packers Bears, Steelers, Cowboys etc.
It can go the other way ??? ??? ??? 49"s bears & Dolphins...(not sure on these two because you can have bad periods
Anyway good luck & I hope you do cross that line ;D

I'm looking forward to the games this weekend. The Patriots should move to the SB then anything can happen. I'm excited to be planning the food!
