Hey,
I'm new here. Got a pellet grill on the back patio and it's getting colder by the day.
But so what? I cook out there year around.
I'm new here! I do particapate in a few other forums, and I'm sure this one will be a very enjoyable forum with good discussion, advice (in both directions), and a few pics now and then.
I'm just a backyard chef who happens to like food cooked outside on some smokin' pellets.
You'll be hearing from me again soon.

Welcome from Illinois!
I run my pits year round.. They'll rip through the pellets in the winter, but they will still function as normal.
What are you cooking on?

Down south here in Alabama most folks tend to think it is too cold to cook outside when the weather falls into the 40's. I do cook outside year round but I do cut back in the cold weather.

I sort of concur with TwoPockets in that below 40 is just plain to cold to do anything but stay inside with the exception of doing some Que outside. Just need some antifreeze.

I live in Canada.. and it can get a tad cold here :P I cook all year round.. warm sweater wool cap and an adult beverage... no problems at all. Welcome to the forum!
