Title: Let's Talk BBQ from NW Missouri
Post by: ptpalms on December 16, 2012, 11:53:49 PM
Hey all!
Greetings from NW Missouri!
New to this site, thanks to Bill-B-Que!
Got tired of the other site I was on, so here I am!

I've been grilling and BBQing for years, but bought my first pellet grill (Blazin Grid Iron) last July and have since added an FEC100 to the arsenal.
Previously, I had a MEBS40 and a Bradley.  Retired the Bradley to the junk yard, but keep the MEBS around just in case I need a holding cabinet.
My first smoker was a New Braunfels Hondo, which I still have, but it needs some love.
I have so many grills that I lost count, everything from huge event grills to small tailgaters.
My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I would rather have a grill for any and every possible situation (at least that's what I tell her...) LOL
I own a bar & grill, do some catering, and have been in the food business for quite a while.
I can't help myself when it comes to cooking, I alway cook enough for 10 when it's just my wife and I...
Anyways, that's it in a nutshell...
Let's eat!

I love my Blazin Grid Iron, I've loaded it down w/ 9 10lb butts before!
But ever since I got my FEC100, it is my precious.
It only uses about a half pound per hour.
It will be my winter smoker for sure!
I make the best wings on that thing.
Absolutely love my FEC.
Thanks!
