Title: Sous Vide Steak
Post by: Agustine on May 18, 2018, 08:23:04 PM
Two 1 inch steaks from wally world that where on sale. Not sure what cuts they where as they looked to be half of one thing and half of another thing  :-\

Anyways I sprinkled them down with some mesquite dry rub, and into a vac bag. Used 2 tablespoon full of worcestershire sauce along with a good size tab of butter in each bag. Seal them up and left in the fridge over night.
Got my homemade sous vide machine going for 12PM today. Used my homemade steak rack made from a coat hanger  :)
Hey it don't have to look perty, just has to work and it did.

5 hours later they where done and dinner was almost ready. Had the gasser BBQ fired up with my grill grates turned upside down so I could sear those puppies. 1 minute each side and ready for the table. Baked potato's in the air fryer with sour cream and corn on the cob.
Saute mushrooms & sliced bell peppers in garlic butter for the top of each steak. It was a great start to our May long weekend here in Canada.
Happy Victoria Day weekend
