I am located in the UK.

Previously I have never had much involvement with BBQ’ing but over the summer this has changed due to the long hot summer we have had over this side of the Atlantic and I am keen to start to learn more about it.
I have previously used the forum as a none member to find out information about different equipment as I am yet to buy my new equipment and I found this site while trying to find information regarding various equipment. I am leaning towards the Kamado style grill. This may be an expensive way to start and I am reading/watching information about the alternate BBQs on the market. I am in no particular rush and thoroughly enjoying the whole research process. I like to think I am friendly and very keen to learn as I am a complete novice.

Kamado style cookers come in wide variety of price ranges and there are several members here who use them regularly. Like Tee said, just jump in the pool ! ! !
