Good day guys and gals. My name is Steve and I reside just outside of Sacramento CA. I have been a BBQ aficionado for the past 10 years. Like many of you I would say BBQ is running through my thoughts many hours a day. I work a full time day job but for the past several years i also run a small BBQ catering business on the weekends. I compete around 4-5 times a year but keep it to only the charitable rib burners that we have around Northern California. I'm not into the KCBS comps.
I cook on a Lang 60 Deluxe, A Jumbo Big Drum Smoker (remember them?), a Weber Platinum, a Cajun Bandit conversion smoker, A Santa Maria Grill, a Weber Genesis gas grill (2007), and a Weber Smoky Joe. Two weeks ago I added to my arsenal with a Weber Q1200 and a PK Grill. I am going to use this alot to get ready for SCA comps.
Anyway, that's plenty about me. Its nice to be here.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
rwalters I live in Citrus Heights but I visit my brother in Lincoln often,
Smokeasaurus I still use my BDS from time-to-time. Rocky made a pretty darn good drum smoker,
Sparky I was planning on going to Emighs Hardware a few weeks ago when they were doing a PK class with Jess Pryles but it was cancelled due to the wildfires. I really like the PK. I bought the original in Graphite color. I added the Grill Grates since that seems to be the standard among SCA competitors.
