Title: New Find at Costco today
Post by: Pappymn on June 02, 2019, 07:06:10 PM
This really has me curious. I have been wanting to try doing something with pork belly, but didn't want to commit to a full belly. Might try a BLT first and then who knows.

They sell something similar at Kroger though it doesn't say it is for sous vide and is not sliced.  It is vacuum packed and pre-cooked, so sous vide is the only way I have ever cooked it (I have bought it 4 or 5 times).  I have a feeling that I might like the whole unsliced belly better, but who knows.

Have  bought that a few times.

Pretty tasty!!  Some of the pieces are rather thick,   and fatty    but reheated and browned some in a saute pan  for an awesome BLT with avo!!
