Hey guys!
Keymaster told me about this forum and I went ahead and signed up after checking it out.
Based on what I've seen so far...a lot of great sharing and collaborating is taking place.
I was born and raised in northern Norway but somehow decided to move across the pond in 1997. Spent my first 3 years in Oregon before I trekked up I-5 to the beautiful Seattle area.
Cooking has been a passion of mine for a long time but smoking/grilling/barbecuing really became a passion about a year ago.
My homemade smokehouse is mostly used for fish and sausage while my faithful Traeger does the heavy lifting.
Today I finished a 13lb brisket and I'm going to make some burnt ends of the point tomorrow.
I've also attached a few pictures of my other spare time project, a full scale Boeing 737-800 simulator.
The simulator is scratch built and estimated to be a 2 year project. I'm about a year into it right now. The 220° wraparound visual system is done and some of the instrumentation is in place.
Currently building the interior sidewalls.
Glad to be a part of the forum!

Welcome from Atlanta! How do you plan on getting the real software for that 737?

Welcome from Atlanta! How do you plan on getting the real software for that 737?
The base software will be Microsoft Flight Simulator X or possibly X-Plane 10. I'm a bit on the fence but have them both.
The actual avionics will be powered by Prosim 737.
Total of 7 computers will be networked to operate the simulator.
