When I got some M3 from Tim, he told me to mix as follows when using it as a marinade: 2 parts canola oil; 1 part apple cider vinegar; and 1 part M3 rub. I believe Muebe has used it as a straight rub with some success. I do know the marinade works great.

That is a good formula for a 2 hour marinade for a steak of up to 2 in. thick.....if your want to marinaxe longer use no vinegar. I ha e even used it with no vinegar on agood steak and been really happy. I would even recommend it withou vinegar for your first time using it then add a lttle next time and compare.

These rubs look great. How can a guy like myself purchase some of these rubs to try? And which ones do you guys recommend? I am always looking for a good tasting rub. Thanks

the M-3 and FSB are my favorites. I also like the super pig. 8) I marinate tri tips overnight or 24 hours. I have let them go 48 hours and they were sooooo good. I love m3. used it on tri's, chicken, hamburger meat, fish.
