Unfortunately due to the recent trajadies the comfort dogs have been in the news.
Brian Williams said wouldn't it be nice if everyone had there own comfort dog.
The last month has not been kind to Mrs. L.A. :o
First she broke her food @ choir practice, then Sunday tripped over her walking boot fell & broke her nose :(
Well Lucy has been a champ, lying by her on the couch, & ready to be petted at a moments notice :)
The official comfort dogs

Boy, them critters sure become your best pal don't they?
We have a "Lucy" here too; an 8 1/2 lb Jack Russel. Like your Lucy, she's is always right there to remind you that she's there, you know... just in case you forgot and/or need to give an ear or back scratch to someone.
The best part is, being a Jack Russel, she actually allows my wife and I to sleep in HER bed, and even shares her covers with us! ;D
She never complains about helping to cleanup after a cook on the grill!

I hope Mrs. L.A. is on the mend!

Sounds like they make a great pair. :)

Hope Mrs. LA is mending, Lucy looks like a big bundle of comfort for her! I can't imagine being without a dog. Don

LA, Lucy has blossomed into what you wanted when you first brought her home. I still remember the first pictures you posted of her. Dee

Hope your wife gets to feeling better. I know she enjoys having Lucy there to comfort her while you wait on her.
