I got a box today from North Carolina: The complete Savor Spices series! :D
From left to right: Fine Swine & Bovine, Mo-Rockin' Chicken, Super Pig, Way out West Trail Dust (Redneck series)
and BBQ Savor, Chicken Savor, Steak Savor and Bacon Savor (Savor series).

I was too curious and tried the first spices with chicken breasts for dinner: Just lightly coated with Chicken Savor, Mo-Rockin' Chicken and Fine
Swine & Bovine (from left to right).

First I seared them on GrillGrates, then I put on an indirect setup on the ceramic cooker to cook them until done.

Again from left to right: Chicken Savor, Mo-Rockin' Chicken and Fine Swine & Bovine.

I tried out the two herbal blends on bread: Way out West Trail Dust (on the left) and Steak Savor (on the right):

This test was fun: The three rubs on the chicken had different character. While Chicken Savor and Mo-Rockin' Chicken are oriental, Fine Swine & Bovine is more savory and surely more universal. I liked the two herbal spices Way out West Trail Dust and Steak Savor, too.
Next time I'm gonna give the meat more time to rest with the rubs to get a more intensive flavor. And I'm looking forward to the next test! ;)

Good stuff WC!

You are in for a bunch of good meals with that line-up of rubs WC. :)

WC,
Looking good, so far. I can't believe you didn't go after the Super Pig on some bacon first. That would have been my first choice. They are all good. Did he send you any M3? I didn't see it in your picture.

That's a great box of stuff!! Your going to like them!!

We keep a shaker of Mo' Rockin' on the table at all times (and use it, too).
Any time we grill chicken, it is our "go to" seasoning.
-
That is a fine collection of rubs WC ;)

That's reserved for the weekend. ;)

No, I just ordered all the stuff from the website. There was no M3 offered.

I have been "massaging" M-3. I want to make sure of the formula before we make it available for purchase. Hope to roll out 2 new ones soon. M-3, and a Mediterranean one that is great on fish, chicken, and pork.
