Only every time! ;D

That is funny... And so true ???
-
Guilty as charged!

That's what you get when you design a connector by committee!
-
The only good thing about the new lightening connector for iPhone/iPad. No wrong way.
USB......frustratingly bad design.

I like the new apple connector

I like the new apple connector
x487.9 !!!

Yep, them dongles can be frustrating :)
-
Actually I never get it wrong...
As soon as I put it in, before I do anything, I realize I need to take it out and turn it around. Works every time. ;D
-
Agree - but why can't we have just 1 connector for everything? Ok, I KNOW why - but jeepers... :(
-
Yep... and these two:
- When I put a plastic sack of trash on the floor in the garage next to the wall, it never falls toward the wall - it always falls to the interior of the room, so I need to pick it up and turn ot 180 degrees
- 120V polarized power plug. At least 90% of the time I need to turn it over - old eyes can't see well so it is simply a 50-50% chance, and I nearly always get it wrong. ;D
-
No problem - I put a drop of SWMBO's nail polish on the "top" side and get it right-side-up pretty close to half the time.

Very guilty of the polarized plug one...

I hope we're talking about a USB plug . ;)

Yes the USB's deceiving symmetry causes problems, but does anyone remember "life" before them? We had serial ports and parallel ports with lots of little pins that would sometimes dislodge and not hook up. Then, if you did get a good connection, you had to remember to screw in the plug holders so it wouldn't fall out. After that, you had to go into some mystery menus and make certain the computer recognized and addressed the port properly, changing the settings if it did not.
I'll take turning the USB thingy around over the old ports any day ;D

I use a Sharpie and put a mark on everything that plugs in. I also put a thingi from the bread wrapper with the name of the appliance/cord on it too. Just in case. I hold the cords with the metal binder clips to control the cords also. Anything to make it easier. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ
