For dinner tonight I decided to try to cook everything outside.
Put a few pork steaks on the pellet grill at 275 using B&B apple pellets from Academy.
The two on the left have a liberal coating of Jan's rub and the one on the right just has salt & pepper.

I tossed one in the bradley and rolled one hour of hickory for me. The rest of the family doesn't like as much smokey flavor as I do.
This one is also coated with Jan's rub, spicy version.

Meanwhile I fried some potato slices on the SRG.
Sorry for the crappy pictures. My lens fogged up a little.

Yes the SRG gets hot enough to fry stuff.
Seasoned them with french fry seasoning and a little salt.
Don't have plated pictures but everything turned out really good. My son tried my heavily smoked pork steak and said he actually thought it tasted good. I guess there's hope for him yet.

Way to use your entire arsenal ;)

looks good from here buddy. :)

Nice cook man!

Looks really good! The taters look really good - I like that idea! Yes, that SRG can get hot. I like to use a cast iron wok on it - no grate. Temps are 500* + Not trying to hijack your thread - just an example of how hot the SRG can get.

Go big or go home! ;D

You can really pick out which steaks had Jan's rub on them. It's a great rub.
Nice job on the meal!

Mike, I'm sorry - it's been a few years and I just don't remember. There are no markings on it, so I can't even tell you who made it. If I can find where I got it, I'll let you know. However, the Lodge cast iron wok fits just as well. The only thing that made me choose this over the Lodge were the handles - I like the "spring grips" and they fold out of the way. But, from a cooking perspective that makes no difference and the Lodge would be excellent.

Real nice cook! I like the idea of multitasking a bunch of things all at once.
Really cool!

I like the idea of a wok on the ceramic cooker... I need to try that!

It's no big deal but I sure hope you remember Cause I really like those handles. I can imagine regular handles would get pretty hot and those spring wraps are perfect.

Another reason for me to justify getting an SRG. ;)
