One of the benefits of living in California ... Garden is plowed, prepped, and ready for planting. Finishing up drip irrigation system. Removed grass 2 years ago in the back yard and built the raised beds. Tomatoes and Summer Squash are planted ... Smoking Pork Butts in the MAK 2 Star for dinner (under the patio). :) 8)

Nice!
I can't even see my yard... (still covered in tree limbs & debris from the ice storms) :(
-
Now that's a garden! I loved when I had room for some raised beds.
I only have room for a couple of 5 gallon container plants and usually only grow a couple of peppers. In the last few days our temps have ranged from 72 to 30 so I haven't planted anything yet.

Nice garden area sp. I got to get my raised beds cleaned up this weekend. I like to grow herbs.

Nice gardens and a good start Pete. I won't be planting to about middle May here in Ohio. Don

I like those plants with the wire probes coming out of them. :D

Great looking garden. ;)

Pete, I like how you did your drip irrigation system. Will you cover the beds with some type of mulch?
When we lived in NC I had drip irrigation hooked up to a big barrel where I'd catch rain water. I loved it!

Then you'll like these plants even more :D :D ... They're in the midst of an FTC right now. Gonna have us some pulled pork in about an hour :P

Thanks. I used my old lawn sprinkler infrastructure and inserted in-line a 30 psi pressure regulator to comply with drip irrigation standards. Each bed has it's own ball valve. A little more pricy up front but it will last a lot longer. A big barrel to catch the rain would be great ... unfortunately we're in the middle of the worst drought in a 100 years! :( I've don't use mulch to cover the beds. I know that it helps prevent weeds and keeps the moisture in but I've just never got around to doing it.
