so recently I have been browsing the forum on my computer as opposed to my ipad (I use the computer to upload images, whereas my normal thread lurking/silently reading is mostly on my ipad)
well I normally open up about half of the unread posts since last visit at once in multiple tabs, however for some reason this often causes my mac to freeze safari (my internet browser) and become completely unresponsive (for prolonged periods of time, up to an hour or until force quitting safari); this is especially true of threads with images in them (though it doesnt happen if I only open 1 thread/tab at a time). I am not sure if this is because of my browser settings, opening too many pages at once, or potentially a computer issue. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue or if it is just a problem with my laptop or trying to open to many pages at once.
any input would be appreciated as it is a bit frustrating

It is likely the way that you choose to open the un-read posts in multiple tabs. Because so many threads do contain images, - you may be pushing your Macbook past it's RAM capacity.
Have you tried viewing the new posts without multiple tabs opening?

Ok, that makes sense tee, I guess I should have considered that. yes when I open just 1 page it works just fine, only when I open multiple tabs does it occur
