We all need to remember it is not just another "holiday". The only reason we have this day to get together to grill and chill with friends is that men and women paid the ultimate price for us to have that freedom. When you are out on the deck Monday cooking that good food with family or friends, take a minute and raise a glass and say "Thank You" to them. In November we will deservedly remember all those who have served and fought for this freedom, but Memorial Day is for those who gave all for us.

Ahron nailed an important point that we tend to forget. We thank those who gave their lives for all the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and tend to forget that they also fought and died to keep the World free.
