I am really glad you steered me toward the AKORN.  I have been using it alot since you told me how to set the temps.

Friday, I cooked a 10 1/2 lb butt therein by cutting it into 2 pieces.  Set it at 225* and let it go - very little tending to it.  When the pork was done, raised the temp to 325 and cooked some wings over direct heat, adding a little cherry wood to the mix.

Looks really good LA.  Wish Kimmie would let me get an Akorn to cook on :(

Tommy, as Nike says "Just Do It".  It's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask permission.  Yeah, uh huh.   :)
