Good morning from Spring Hill, TN
« Reply #-1 on: July 30, 2014, 09:32:49 AM »
Hello everyone.  My name is Shawn and I live in Spring Hill, TN, about 35 minutes from downtown Nashville (with no traffic).  I've got a beautiful wife, two little boys, two dogs and a cat and am just living a good life here.

I found this site while I was looking for a forum about the Pit Barrel Cooker.  I just got one of these fine devices and am exploring pit cooking.  I've been cooking on a Weber OTG for a while now as well.  I'm starting to get into venturing away from the basics like burgers, chicken, and corn on the cob.  I've done a few beer can chickens, but now I'm ready to tackle new and interesting things, from ribs, brisket, and pork on the PBC to things like fajitas and other fun stuff on the kettle.  I look forward to reading, learning, then maybe down the road teaching people how to be better outdoor cooks.
