Robin Hood Party
« Reply #-1 on: July 04, 2012, 12:38:06 PM »
Since we all had to beat work early on the 5th, 3 old empty nester couples had a Robin Hood party.
EAT, DRINK & BE MERRY ;D
I was the cook!
Made it easy , I smoked a butt Sunday & left foiled in a pan unpulled.
I always have some smoked BB rib sections in the freezer vacu- sealed.
I reheated the meat on the warming rack of my gas grill, roasted mini red potatoes, 6 ears corn , & grilled veggies all on my gasser . All done within a hour!
Unfortunately one of the ladies just learned to make a martini slushy for the summer so nopics :'(
But A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!

Sounds like a good time was had by all LA. We don't need any pictures to know you cook good.

The wife is prepping for her potato salad and 3 bean salad, I will season up some pork chops to go on the grill later. Not sure if they will go on the gasser or on charcoal yet. Right now it is 91.6 degrees in the shade under my deck and 100+ in the sun on the top of the deck. The deck will be in the shade this afternoon and with the aid of iced down beer and a fan I should survive the cook. I wanted spare ribs in the electric smoker which is mostly set and forget, but she wanted pork chops.... so we are having pork chops.
