A busy day cooking (lots of pictures)
« Reply #-1 on: September 13, 2014, 10:47:07 PM »
Well Kimmie had a yard sell, which means friends and family will be over from sunrise to sun set  ??? ??? ???

Well, I started of the day unloading my garage and a trailer.  Then after all was out for sale I stepped inside the house to make gravy and biscuits with homemade sausage (posted a few weeks back)

The sausage I used for gravy was made with lard so I could get the fat content just right.  I found that you would not want to use lard if your going to slice the sausage for patties the meat is to loose and falls apart but for gravy it wonderful!

After I finished cooking breakfast I made homemade veggie soup for lunch.   I also added chicken wings to the list  ;)

After all was cleaned up and everyone was full I turned my sights on diner  :D :D :D   Yep, started by making bacon wrapped onions and little smokies both  dusted with Super Pig.  I made them then set them in the fridge for a few hrs so the Super Pig would have time to make it's way into the bacon.

Both were a big hit let me tell you. ;) ;)

I also added some more wings to fill everyone up  :D

I'm so thankful no one left any for me to put in the fridge, all gone by 6 PM ;)

Tommy, you have been cooking and playing real hard lately. Why don't you take a little down time to just relax and recover your strength and revitalize your stamina...maybe week after next. I believe there is a good vacation spot alongside a beautiful lake just outside of Augusta where you can rest and relax and get your energy back. Kimmie needs a little R and R, also.
