7 hour Pot Roast
« Reply #-1 on: September 28, 2014, 06:51:10 PM »
It's Fall.....time to break out old blue....love ya Blue

Marinated two chuck roasts overnight in red wine. Browned it off really well in old blue. Put in some beef stock, onions, carrots, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.

Braised in a 250 degree oven for 7 hours.

I defatted the cooking liquid and tightened it up for a gravy.

Made some parmesian smashed red potatoes.

This came out really good.....like crazy good.

Pappy,
Have you been hiding some of these cooking skills?  Shame on you.  Plate looks really good.  I'll bet it tastes even better.
