Oops! RedRocks almost forgot something.

My obligatory first post, that is! (Thanks for the reminder Tee)

Many of you already know me from the CB forum.  I was looking for something over there a while back & discovered that it was down.  Some of the final posts mentioned this site, so here I am.

I own two SRGs, one on the deck at home, the other in the toy hauler.  I quit using my 3-burner Brinkman altogether, so I sold it to help finance the second SRG.  I have two portables, an Olympia and a Weber Baby-Q.  But honestly, I use the SRGs almost exclusively.

That's all I have for now.  Thanks for leting me in!

Frank - thanks for your post! There are some site security reasons we do this - but perhaps even more importantly - an introductory post often help convince new members "break the ice" - and that we don't bite, and we believe that EVERYONE - even folks that are absolutely new to outdoor cooking - can contribute.

LTBBQ will never become a place where you have to fear becoming the butt of a joke ( that is my job... ;D ) due to a question asked or statement made. We are not stuffy - and we do plenty of joking with one another - but we WILL NOT make someone feel un-comfortable with posting any questions about cooking.  You never have to worry about defending your posts. I learn new things all of the time - and often from newer members, bringing a fresh perspective.

So - we are glad you are here - and hope you will participate freely.
