I just purchased the smokenator and just received it a couple weeks ago but havent used it yet. I failed to mention that also purchased the orion cooker. One thing i found out when using the big green egg, the weber mountain smoker and the gas propane smoke is that i didnt want to spend the entire day micro managing a piece of meat. The little cobb grill works pretty good i must confess, especially since you only use 10 pieces of charcoal but it cant sear a steak or make the chicken skin crispy....I really like the electric smoker (smokin it model 1). It shocked me how well it cooked the ribs and tri tip but it cant sear the meat and i dont consider it  portable if i am going to cook at a campsite. I am considering buying a probe to know the temperature of the meat and cooker? I also bought a amazen tube smoker for the PBC. Was that a unnecessary purchase? Any info is greatly appreciated
