A couple days ago, I was in Washington, DC working on my job. I had a little down time so I was texting everyone in my address book a "Happy New Year!" message. I always include Dee even though I know that he still uses a flip phone and is social media challenged. I thought that at least he can read the message and know that I am thinking about him. Well, to my surprise, for the first time, he texted me back and I fell out of my chair. The message he sent back to me was "same to you". I asked him if he got a new smart phone for Christmas and he said that he was still using his flip phone and that the message took him twenty minutes to write. Dee, welcome to the 21st century. I bet he's gonna post a picture real soon.
