Sorry, Tee.  I may be old, but I am not that old.  That appears to be a later diesel submarine.  The "boats" were always known for good food, and lots of it.  Even the nukes.

Here is a picture of me, back in the day, doing my best "guest chef" impression.  I cooked several meals for about 120 hungry guys on my submarine.  This one is circa 1969/70.
