Rib Eyes - sous vide style
« Reply #-1 on: January 03, 2015, 09:59:19 PM »
Happen to come across a couple of rib eyes while searching through the freezer. I had been reading about everybody's latest sous vide adventures so I thought I would do the rib eyes.

Plan was to sous vide for 2 hours and then sear on the weber. Wouldn't you know that it started pouring rain just at the time to sear.
So I had to stand out there with the big umbrella while it seared.

Here is the end result with some homemade fried rice, some salad, and some Texas toast.
Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.
