New from Pa

Hello everyone

I guess I would be the new guy here. I had all but sworn off trying to find a BBQ Forum that I could settle into. They all seem to be full of the "fanboy" type people. I dont mind loyalty but most seem to be to the point of if you aren't using said product and done in said way them there is no way it can be good. This is so irritating to me that I had all but said the heck with forums. Then my buddy, unleashed, was telling me about this place and how it was so far from that atmosphere. I took a look around and liked what I seen. So here I am......lol

I don't own many cooKers do to space to keep them. I have a Pellet Smoker, Big Green Egg, Webber Kettle. They all get used and I don't really favor one over the other. They all have there place and depending on my mood any can be used.

I got a side of salmon and some veggies on the Pellet Smoker right now. If I remember to take pics when it's done I will post them.

We have ONE favorite way to cook...GOOD.... :D :D :D
Welcome and get to cooking ;)  We honestly do not have the attitude that you will find other places. Heck - if you can cook something on a hot rock - show us! We all learn from one another and NO ONE knows "it all".

A little bit north of Harrisburg.

Nice I grew up in South Philly, just off of Packer Ave. Moved out here to the middle of the state when I got out of the service in 1995.

Here is the picture of most of the salmon. I was busy trying to finish cooking up the veggies, and clean up outside before the football game came on. So I just wrapped it in foil to keep it warm for a few mins till I was finished. What little did I know, the vultures were inside hogging the food!  :o

I was born in Pottsville (home of Yeungling beer) and have relatives in the Pottsville/Harrisburg/Elizabethtown area.  I go there to visit.  Love to go to Groff's meat market in E-town.  Their smoked cajun sausage is the bomb!!

How close are you to E-town?
