Hello from Washington!
« Reply #-1 on: January 15, 2015, 02:34:27 PM »
Hello Let's Talk BBQ Family!

I stumbled across this forum while reading reviews for the Camp Chef pellet grill and was immediately drawn in. I smoke/bbq/grill on a Traeger Lil' Tex at home and a portable Traeger Junior for picnics and tailgating (Go Cougs!). I live in a tiny town in south eastern WA just a mile or so from the ID border. Even with the snowy weather we get, I still love grillin' so it's not an uncommon sight to see me out front in a snow storm with smoke rolling out from under porch. I have cooked everything from pumpkin bread to burgers on my grill but nothing beats a nice steak!

I look forward to learning something from each of you!!

George

Yup!

But it is best on the fly - I try a fly for everything - might be silly, but I love it!

Hey George, Welcome to the forum.  I normally say "from the sunny South", but we haven't seen the sun in quite awhile.  We are supposed to have sunshine for the next couple of days...we'll see.

I can't imagine cookin' in the snow.  I'm lookin' forward to some pics of that.

I did a big Camp Chef Pellet Grill review when they first came out. Check out our product review section. The Traeger Lil Tex is a darn good pellet grill as well.

Welcome home to one great outdoor cooking forum full of friendly folk that genuinely like each other and think of each other as family.
