My first choice is 135 but wife is 140. 138 is comprise. That's why I'm getting a second Anova.

Although Deb would probably kill me, a SECOND unit makes a lot of sense.  Suppose you want to cook some hunk of meat for 50 hours.  That's almost 2 days -  ;) - and can't cook much else during that time unless it is for that particular temp setting.

So, yeah, I can see the need for another one.  But I see a greater need to stay alive.
