Another rib eye cook. Dropped this one on my way to work, 135 degrees. Got home, lit my chimney
Painted the steak with garlic ghee and a bunch of freshly ground black pepper

Chimney ready, no need for searzall or whatever y'all call it.

I can get used to this sous vide thing.

Midnight Tomahawk.....

Got called in back to work. Got back around midnight. Now most folks would have passed by the fast food joint. I'm not one of them.
Fired up the chimney grill

That is beautiful! And I really like the chimney grill - sure beats firing up the big one for just one steak and gets screaming hot.

And the chimney grill, the coals are right there on the meat so it actually beats a kitchen torch.

Great idea!

I have a use for a chimney starter now!

My SRG grill will fill on top just fine.

Bigg..I sent away to Amazon and got me a small chimney starter, your fault and thanks for the heads up. Do you use the lil chimney starter thingi's. I got some of them too. How much charcoal do you use? Enquiring minds, steaks look perfect.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Not sure how many coals I use, I just turn the chimney upside down, place a weber cube starter thingy, grab a handful of coals fill it up about  almost all the way up. Can't be more than 15.
