The PBC does some things very well but I wouldn't recommend it as your only cooker.  Figure out your needs and priorities before you buy.  You'll find folks with experience from ownership of just about everything here (and we're helpful).

Welcome from Florida - in winter - PA in summer and fall. This site has great folks and it is civilized. Ask questions and no flames appear. I just ordered a PBC after getting help from members here. Enjoy the forum.

Thank you all for the kind words.

The PBC won't be my only cooker, it will just replace my existing Char-griller for now.

Will also be saving up for a Kamado type at some point.

I was following the different threads and I have decided on the PBC, hopefully will be ordering in a couple weeks (dang other bills to pay)

Thanks once again to all that replied, have been enjoying reading all the different sections, can't wait to start contributing.
