Another Alabama welcome. Thanks for your and your wife's service. Sounds like you are still serving by cooking for youth groups. I am sure we can learn a few things from your cooks.

Welcome Folks!

Did you ever fly out of Robins AFB?  it's right here in my backyard almost.  We used to have a number of them stationed here

Jaxon,  I flew threw Robins many times and always stop in to a few BBQ places. In fact, I spent 5 years as a dependent attending Miller Elementary school and Rumble Junior High. I was there for the Cuban Missile Crises.  We had a bomb shelter with rations and bags of briquets to cook with.  My dad was the B-52 Squadron Commander before he left for Vietnam.

Sure miss that Brunswick stew we would pick up at a drive-in along the road to Macon! I just can't recreate the flavor I remember.  Tried throwing in some pulled pork with a little sweat Carolina sauce.

Welcome from Omaha, NE.  You've provided a great service to the country, now enjoy touring it.

I suspect that your signature line is correct, "Nobody Kicks *** Without Tanker Gas."
