My bride and I have been BBQ'ing for 45 years in country's around the world while serving 30 years in the Air Force and 8 years teaching and coaching Junior ROTC. Mostly on charcoal Webers and other strange setups in Europe, Asia, Japan, Guam, and the Middle East. I switched to mostly gas after my retirement and a few years ago I became a true pellet-head. Using my background cooking with Squadron Boosters and other service clubs at various air shows and veteran events, I cook for large groups as a volunteer, youth events mainly, several times a year. I generally follow Meathead on AmazingRibs, and after reading his and other BBQ reviews I recently discovered Noah's PBC and love it. That's how I discovered LTBBQ ... on a google search for a PBC issue. I love this site.
We travel a lot. The Treager is to big to lug around in our motorhome, so we will be eating PBC pulled pork on Huntington Beach Monday night. Tri-tip at China Peak ski resort the next week. And brisket on the beach in Coronado next month. Living a dream!
