Hard as it is to admit....the old surfin' reptile is correct!

One of the many burdens I bear (and one of the many reasons I move so "deliberately") is the inability of you lesser species to comfortably accept the natural superiority of we reptiles of the order Testudines.  Get used to it and your life will be in much better balance.  Or just drink more and ignore it; that always seems to work for me.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!  Much appreciated!!!  I wish I was closer to NC, I'd hit up NEPAS in a heartbeat for what he's got on sale.  But with the price of gas and my lil Scion XB, I don't think I could fit it in there or pay for the gas round trip think I'd be well over what I'd pay for the NEW 2012 model with all the bells and whistles included......  :'(  I am going to be in NC next May to go to Camp Lejuene but I don't think TSA will let me carry on a smoker! lol

That was Cletus, a distant cousin (apparently trying to get even more distant).  Cletus grew up in Georgia and then migrated to California when he was thrown into the bed of a westbound pickup truck and fell in love with the spare tire.  He's had "issues" ever since, stemming from a combination of his "hold my beer and watch this" heritage and his acquired California strangeness.  Plus he's a box turtle which, if you know anything about turtles, explains a lot.
