Hey all!
Just expanding my Horizon's from the Bradley Forum....... and I love to BBQ even though I trash my kitchen worse doing it than I do if I cook in the house ...  go figure  "
Well SHMBO taught me the error of my ways when I used to trash the kitchen!
Basically I'm do a lot of prep work outside or in our laundry room which has a sink & a counter.
I use food service aluminum pans ( get about 3 uses out of them , the dishwasher slowly eats them)
I use food service plastic handeled knives ( dishwasher safe)
I use dishwasher safe cutting boards, have 2 garbage bags set up, have a semi disposable towel ready & use a lot of disposable gloves.

If I had a laundry room and if it was that nice, I wouldn't need to mess up my kitchen either.  Come to think of it, I wouldn't need a kitchen at all.

lol Nice!
My problem is when I am BBQ ing I do create a ton of things that go straight into the sink in need of a wash. I do the same when I cook in the house. The BIG Difference is that when I am BBQ ing I am outside at my post to be "Johnny on the Spot" spray bottle and Mop in hand. Ready to handle anything that needs done .... only taking my eye off the food long enough to open the occasional beer.
When I am in the house cooking I am the same way although since there is no need for a spray bottle or mop I wash the dishes that I dirty almost immediately after using them.
So basically when I am done cooking in the house my kitchen is as clean and the sink is as empty as when I started. When I am done BBQ ing I come into a kitchen with a pile of dishes and a counter covered with Home made BBQ sauces, rubs and seasonings.......because when it is all said and done .... A perfect bed of coals waits on no man   :o

OK ...now back to my beer and smoker  :P

I've pretty much solved that problem for the moment.  I send SWMBO off to work and make sure I've cleaned it all up (mostly) by the time she gets home.  I may be in trouble when she is old enough to retire but I have several years of leeway before that happens.
