I live in central Texas and do a little outdoor cooking. I have a Charbroil infra-red grill and a Big Easy cooker. I've had the BE for a few years now. At first I cooked turkeys because I replaced my oil fryer with the BE and I liked the results without the mess. I learned how to cook baby back ribs in the BE and my family and friends love them so much they don't want to eat them any other way. Because of that I decide to buy another BE or the electric smoker BE or the smoker-griller version so I can cook more ribs at one time.  That leads me to how I got to this forum. I used to read the sizzle on the grill forum and I wanted to read the different opinions about the three cookers. I hadn't been to that forum in a while and was surprised and disappointed to find that it was not there any more. During my search for the sizzle forum I found this place. From what I've read so far I won't be disappointed in what I find here. Now all I have to do is decide which cooker I want.

Welcome from Minnesota. My vote is for the SRG - but they are all very versatile. If you haven't tried wings yet, you need to do that!
